Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) Trafford and Hulme branch
Britain’s brewing heritage is unique in the world, and we are lucky to have a range and quality of beers totally distinct to other countries styles.
The fact that these beers continue to flourish is due in no small part to the work of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) over nearly 40 years.
In Manchester (and beyond to Lancashire and Cheshire) we have some fantastic local breweries, producing beers which are an antidote to the bland, sterile lagers brands that dominate the less discerning buyers palate. With over 500 members, the Trafford and Hulme branch www.thcamra.org.uk is one of CAMRA’s biggest. If your experience of beer begins and ends with cans of fizz that pretend to be German (or Belgian, or Australian…) find out what you’ve been missing out.
